Marketplace role
Hay Barn by Cruxi helps buyers request hay and compare supplier quotes. Suppliers—not Hay Barn by Cruxi—sell and deliver hay. Buyers pay suppliers directly for hay and delivery.
Supplier service fee
Submitting a quote requires no account, payment setup, or charge. When a buyer accepts a quote, Hay Barn by Cruxi introduces both parties immediately and invoices the supplier for the disclosed one-time marketplace fee, currently 5% of the accepted delivered total unless a written promotion applies. The invoice is separate from the buyer's payment to the supplier, and the supplier pays Hay Barn only after receiving payment from the buyer.
Transactional messages
Buyers consent to transactional email and text alerts about their request, including an alert whenever a new quote arrives. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts; email alerts continue so the request can still be operated.
Privacy and contact release
Before confirmation, Hay Barn by Cruxi shares only the information needed to prepare a quote and redacts buyer contact details and exact delivery addresses. When the buyer accepts a quote, Hay Barn sends buyer and supplier each other's contact information so they can coordinate directly.
Quality and issues
Suppliers are responsible for accurately describing hay, quantities, pricing, and delivery. Buyers are responsible for reviewing quotes and inspecting delivery. Hay Barn by Cruxi provides a documented, neutral issue workflow but does not promise a buyback, refund, or quality guarantee.
Acceptable use
Users must provide accurate information, keep private links confidential, avoid bypassing the marketplace after accepting a quote, and comply with applicable laws.
